Dr. Siju Sukumaran - is a renowned Indian Ayurveda Physician

Dr.Siju Sukumaran is a renowned Indian Ayurveda Physician/ Vaidya. He was born in Kollam district of Kerala, India.

Being compassionate towards fellow beings and having ardent interest in medicinal herbs, he chose the path of healing people the herbal way. He studied the science of Ayurveda and graduated as Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from Government Ayurveda College, Trivandrum, one of the best Ayurveda colleges in the world. He acquired expert knowledge in Ashtangas (8 branches) of Ayurveda:

- - Kaya Chikitsa (general medicine)
- - Salya Tantra (surgery)
- - Salakya Tantra (ENT and Ophthalmology)
- - Kaumarabhritya (Paediatrics)
- - Agada Tantra (Toxicology)
- - Bhutavidya (Psychiatry)
- - Rasayana (Geriatrics)
- - Vajeekarana (Aphrodisiacs) along with
- Prasoothitantra (Gynaecology)

Thereafter, he practised in several Ayurveda hospitals all over India, thus acquiring experience in handling and treating multitude of disease conditions.

Concurrently, Dr.Siju also endeavoured to expand his knowledge in various other aspects of ancient Indian medicine. He acquired the knowledge of Pulse diagnosis from traditional Ayurveda Vaidyas along with valuable awareness on numerous rare medicinal herbs.

He further broadened his knowledge in Yoga and Marma (vital points) therapy. He underwent TTC (Teachers Training Course) from International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Dhanwantari Ashram. He received expert training on Marma therapy from Thirumoolar Varmology Institute of Tamil Nadu.

Dr.Siju has intricately woven all the above knowledge into his diagnosis and practice method, which makes it unique.

In 2015, Dr. Siju was invited by Maja Abouda to work in Ayurveda Clinic as a chief physician to consult customers. In 2020 he joined her venture, ‘Maya Ayurveda Clinic’ and since then there has been no turning back. He has experience in dealing with a wide range of diseases and conditions.
