Pañcakarma

Pañcakarma is a sophisticated procedure for the effective application of cleansing therapies. The literal meaning of the word pañca-karma is “Five Procedures” in Sanskrit. The five purification procedures mentioned above are done as the Major Procedure (pradhāna karma). Apart from this, a typical pañcakarma procedure will include a Preparatory Procedure (pūrva karma) and a Subsequent Procedure (paścāt karma).
